Sorrento and Pompeii Ruins

We drive from the port towards Sorrento passing by the Vesuvian cities. In Sorrento, walking tour through the beautiful historical centre passing by the Cathedral (external visit) and the famous San Francesco's Church (external visit). Transfer to Pompeii that, during the catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.C. was completely destroyed. The excursion includes a guided walking tour of this wide archaeological site which has been perfectly preserved under a layer of volcanic ash. Free time and lunch at restaurant. On the way back to the port, visit of a coral factory.
